PROGRAM GOALS
The BS/MS program in the College of Engineering and Technology at Old Dominion University is designed to provide a unique opportunity for suitably qualified students to obtain a combined undergraduate and graduate degree in engineering and technology in five years after graduating from high school.
The program provides students with a rigorous and thorough education in the basic principles of engineering in their chosen specialty, together with graduate education. It prepares students in many rapidly advancing areas of engineering, of interest to the Commonwealth of Virginia, as well as to the nation and the world.
Graduates of this program are expected to contribute rapidly and substantially to the field of engineering in the global economic environment already upon us.
