Students in the B.S.-M.E. program may be able to acquire up to three credits for relevant practical experience obtained by working in industry in their declared major.
Students in this program are allowed double dipping of courses with the approval of the department. In this case, a minimum of 24 credits of graduate courses must be maintained.
Students in their fourth year of the B.S.-M.S. program are required to sign up for at least one credit of master’s thesis.
Students in their fourth year of the B.S.-M.S. or B.S.-M.E. program are required to sign up for at least six credits of graduate courses.
Qualified students will be allowed to transfer from the B.S.-M.E. to B.S.-M.S. option and vice versa.
Students on the B.S.-M.S. track performing exceptionally well at the end of the fifth year and wishing to transfer to a B.S.-Ph.D. program will have this option available.
